The gorgeous little boy below belongs to my friend Amy who asked me to take some photos. Neither of us are keen on the standard studio family set up, preferring instead to work in a more naturalistic style in the home and nearby surroundings. Photographing in this way makes the subjects more relaxed and also provides a greater context for the image. It documents the moment in time, with a favourite chair, toy or activity so that you can really say- this is how it was.
